Within minutes of the Villa is several resturants, serving traditional Spanish food, through to McDonalds.  There is also several Bars and Clubs.  In Torrevieja there's Casinos for the adults and for the kids entertainment/amusements arcades. 

You can also go to factory outlets, view the salt lakes, have a round of golf, or just relax on the local beaches.

GETTING ABOUT

TAXIS

Taxis can normally be found in  designated parking spaces. Some are near the Town Hall, the town centre, at the bus station,
near the local police station, at health centres in residential areas, and around shopping areas and complexs.

There is a minimum charge for the taxi and a price per kilometre pretty much as it is in the UK. Journeys within the town aren't allowed to exceed 30 euros.

Places to Visit

Torrevieja - Torre del MoroTorre del Moro 

Erected in the 14th Century on Cape Cervera by Moors. Located as an ideal watch tower, keeping an eye out for pirates or raiders.   Around the tower is a 23'000m2 park, the 'Mirador Turistico de la Torre del Moro'.

Next to the marina in Torrevieja is a small fairground, is open all year round visiting the fairground for a few hours is great for the kids and its a great excuse to see what Torrevieja has to offer.

Terra Mitica -Theme Park

 

 

Fancy a little more excitement? Visit Terra Mitica a paramount theme park similar to Alton Towers. About an 1.5 hours away in the car it's open March - September simply follow the N332 motorway driving north past Alicante towards Valencia, Terra Mitica is well signposted after the first Benidorm signs. It is quite a trek, but set off early(ish) and spend the day.

Aquopolis - Torrevieja's Water Park

 

 

includes rapids, Kamikaze sAquopolis Torrevieja, Spainlides, large pools with wave machines and tube rides. Buses regularly run to the Aquopolis water park, there is also plenty of car parking. The water park is a great day out for all the family.

The Rio Safari Elche is a few miles from Torrevieja at Santa Pola,  head towards Elche, driving north along the N-332 towards Alicante take the CV-865 towards Elche at Santa Pola.

Torrevieja's open-air market,  is held on Fridays, it is claimed to be the biggest in Spain and after you've been in it for a few hours you will believe it!

They have good access and they are well signposted from the town.

They have fine, white sand and signs to indicate the services they provide such as showers, foot washers, children's play area, rescue service, lifeguards, security and special areas for relaxation.

Between each beach there are a number of coves where you can enjoy bathing and diving in a more peaceful environment.

Torrevieja possesses some exceptional sea beds.

Torrevieja offers a wide range of leisure activities and night entertainment.

At the time for going out for a drink you can choose between a variety of premises with different musical atmospheres and styles.

In the area of La Punta there are more than 70 disco-pub with a youthful atmosphere. Opening times are from 9 p.m. to 3.30 a.m. in the morning. Entrance is free and prices range from 5 to 8 euros a drink.

There is also a wide range of establishments with an Irish style in the areas next to the beaches in Los Náufragos, El Cura and Los Locos.

In the Avenida de las Habaneras there are about a dozen "after-hour" establishments. These have an ultra-modern atmosphere and a closing time later than the rest - until 5 a.m.

 

Torrevieja offers the opportunity to end the night in one of its numerous discotheques. These can be found in the Avenida de las Cortes Valencianas, the Avenida de Delfina Viudes and the Ozone leisure complex. The town's discotheques specialise in different styles of music, from "tecno" to salsa. Closing times are at 5 a.m. in the winter and 6 a.m. in the summer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You can also visit the games and leisure complex "Ozone".

This is situated on the CV 90 road exit to Madrid.

This centre is more than 10,000 square metres in area, it offers the opportunity to have supper in more than 25 restaurants, play bowls, enjoy the gaming Casino or view a newly released film at the 8 multi-screen cinema complex which benefits from the best sound and image technology in Europe.

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the maritime boulevards - the Vista Alegre, de la Libertad and Juan Aparicio promenades - you can enjoy the best Alicante ice creams or any kind of drink on the more than 30 terraces alongside the Mediterranean sea.

The maritime terraces are well-lit, they are wide and enjoy great popularity during the summer months as they are only a few metres away from the sea.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the town centre you can choose between other boldly designed night-time establishments which specialise in Caribbean, rock, jazz, samba, new age or American folk music.

Want to go golfing nearer Torrevieja?  

Well, you got plenty of golf grounds to choose from. There are three golf courses just south of Torrevieja.

All three courses are 18 hole grounds located at the coast of Orihuela. (Don't get confused they are NOT located around the city of Orihuela itself), they are very close to Torrevieja, near the Costa.

This Restaurant is a little different to the average Chinese,
as they have Live Entertainment Saturday and Sunday Evening.
